The Abbey Road
Washington, D.C.
Abby
Abby wanted more of an urban, industrial, “NYC-flat” kind of feel, but with the warmth and texture of reclaimed wood.
Despite having looked at numerous beds, especially from major box stores, she couldn’t find what she wanted. The beds she saw weren’t made from real or solid wood, and most were shipped in from overseas lending themselves to lower quality and more generic designs.
Here’s where we come in.
Solidly perched on an iron base, we made a bed of solid reclaimed pine with a naturally aged and distressed look that is at once rustic and refined.
This sleek modern design fit well in a wide variety of settings and could easily break down for transportation.
We liked the urban, industrial design of this bed so much, we named it The Abbey Road.
